Welcome to Clevedon Community Centre
and the Princes Hall

Home to the Woodington family until the early 1940's, Sunhill House was bought by the people of Clevedon and opened as a Community Centre in 1949.

There are several rooms for hire in Sunhill House. These vary in size and are suitable for meetings and presentations. Some rooms have laminated flooring and are ideal for dance and exercise classes.

The Squirrels Restaurant is open Monday to Friday, serving morning coffee between 10am and 12pm, and lunch between 12pm and 1:30pm.

Adjoining Sunhill House is the Princes Hall and Jubilee Lounge, the largest venue in the vicinity. Built in the 1960s, the Princes Hall features a fully equipped stage with dressing rooms and can seat up to 250 people theatre-style. The Hall is also an ideal venue for weddings, parties and dances. The Jubilee Lounge was added in 1976, and boasts a well-stocked bar at competitive prices.

Clevedon Community Centre is unique in North Somerset in that it is self-financing. It is run by Clevedon Community Association, a registered charity (number 304518). You can find a brief history of Sunhill House and Clevedon Community Association here, and a list of the Executive Committee members here.
